Impossible to type in information. Only way to get covid pretrial check was to dial amtrack # and wait for call back.

User's recommendation: Forget the amtrack app. Call instead.

The Worse Customer Service

Tried calling customer service 7 times each time I was advised wait time over 30mins got disconnected each time. When I order my ticket I wasn't informed that I would be paying for a bus that takes me to the train so I missed my trip. Now I'm going to see if they will reschedule after I was told my ticket was canceled.

Worst customer service ever

I bought a ticket from amtrack for a bus. But I tried to board at a different station. The driver didnt accept the ticket. The customer service agent is extremely rude. I didnt know that I couldnt board at a later station but they could have atleast explained it to me nicer.

Cancel reservations

I was on hold over 1 hour trying to get my e ticket sent to me.

I paid for my tickets and the. They transferred me to another number so I could give them my e mail address so my e tickets could be sent. No one ever came on the line. They said a 30 minute wait. I waited for over an hour and no one came on. They got my money and I never got my e ticket. This is ridiculous. Sorry service

My experience with dining in the dining cart

I got quite sick from the food that I had in the dining cart on 28 April as I was traveling back home from Seattle on the Amtrak starlight train it causes great nausea for me and I had to vomit quite a few times while I was on the train upon coming home I was unable to eat anything for at least two days just some liquids today is May 2 and Im feeling better able to keep down some food dont know what was wrong with the steak that I ate or possibly the crabcake but it definitelyMade my experience quite unbearable

Worst experience ever

I booked the California Zephyr out of Glenwood Springs traveling thru the Rocky Mountains and arriving in Denver. I had planned this trip for months. Flew from Charlotte NC to Eagle just take the train. Delay after delay after delay. Train arrived 7 hours late and it was pitch black when it departed station. Missed dinner reservations with friends I had not seen in years and arrived in Denver at 1:55 am instead of 6:30pm. I will not ever take another Amtrak train. Spent hundreds and not one Amtrak employee apologized for the long long long delay

Firstly, the website is overloaded with images and unnecessary graphics making navigation very frustrating. It seems to be impossible to book tickets from the UK and their contact form doesn't work.

Reservations and customer service

I realize these are difficult times for everyone. BUT to wait for 1 1|2 hours for an agent to answer the phone is unacceptable as is being cut off not once but twice while finally being connected to an agent. As I write this I've been waiting for Nico, my agent, to return to my call. (He put me on hold 20 minutes ago). I've used Amtrack several times and never experienced this. Amtrak needs to improve their wait time and customer assistance!
