The customer service rep was very professional and knowledgeable! Was not happy with the answer that my saets couldn't be reduced from $275 ! apiece! Never paid mote than $89 apiece or less on previous trips for couch seats!

i am on Acela. I am a writer my tray table is broken they wont move me to a comparable seat and told me to call reservations for a refund. $226 for a broken tray and no solution. I would have flown but I need to write today. Amtrak *** me.

Im getting emails pissed customer . I was never Pissed. I called to ask a question not sure how they say I was pissed. I asked about a train leaving from New Brunswick nj to va and was told it does not leave out of New Brunswick. Ive taking it from there numerous of times so called with inquiry thats all nothing more nothing less

The unfriendly interaction

We are traveling to Vancouver from Seattle. We checked in at the counter around 7:30 AM on Tuesday 2/27/2024 at the King street Amtrak station. The staff name Tina is very rude and not helpful. She has unwelcoming demeanor. I think she is racially biased towards us. I never has met any service staff that is this rude and disrespectful. She does not belong to this counter that need to interact with many Amtrak customers. Bottom line is if you cannot contain your attitude and biases, you cannot work at the check in counter or any customer service PERIOD!

This complaint is towards the lady driver for the Amtrak connecting bus Thruway 4790 San Jose, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara.

The driver opened the door, and was already complaining that she is already running late. Ordered everyone to put luggage, backpacks/ laptop bags under the baggage compartment of the bus.Told her I have my rx meds in my bag but she said " that's what they all say". The driver's attitude was so unnecessarily rude. She was the one running late on schedule.

COVID

My daughter and nephew took the train from Sacramento to Chicago. They made them share tables with strangers and made them sit opposite strangers. I can only assume they had to share tables to make clean up easierthere were many empty tables. As for sitting oppositethey just like telling people what to do? Now my nephew has COVID. No customer focus. Ugh

The audacity to charge for a train with no seating accomodations, but Amtrak feasts off of tax payer dollars so don't expect anything to change,save your money and fly.

Took a round trip from Kissimmee to Savannah Georgia.Train silver meteor 98 staffing were great and the train was kept very clean.The way back home, silver meteor 97 was not only dirty but the staff was horrific. Unfriendly. In fact very rude and nasty towards white people.The tables in the dining area were also very filty. Needs major sanitation. I would shut the diner down due to sanitation reasons.

Amtrak - Terrible trip for the cost.
Outgoing from Milwaukee, sleeping car (room; very expensive) was so cold that we slept in our clothes and had three blankets each. Our valet did her best to help, but no go. Back from Everett, bumpy and the second day lost electricity, so no dining car service. They gave us Pizza Hut for lunch (stopped for it in LaCrosse). Prior to that we sat in St. Paul for a few hours, so we were late coming into Milwaukee. Cant imagine what those who had connections in Chicago faced. After complaining, we got a travel voucher for a whole $500.00. Our tickets for round trip were over $6,000.00.
