Amtrak - No response for my query
I have a amptrack ticket and later I had to cancel the reservation. Still, I didnt receive any refund for my cancellation.

Their automated service is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!! T

THE AUTOMATED REPEATEDLY COULD NOT UNDERSTAND MY RESPONSE, THE SERVICE KEPT CUTTING ME OFF IT RECEIVED THE INFORMATION BUT WOULD NOT ACCEPT IT. I HAD TO CALL 12 TIMES OVER TO JUST PAY FOR MY TICKET. I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THEIR AUTOMATED SERVICE.

CORRECT THE ISSUE

Safety issues

Safety

We know there is shortage of employees but we were told when we got on train. We were concerned if there was a emergency on the train that there was nobody in our car that worked for Amtrak.

5 hour delay from Croton Harmon to Albany

Feb 28 2022 Train 233 was supposed to leave at 12:08. Told there was a delay. No Station Rep available no information until 2:00. Then told the train wont arrive until the earliest at 4:00. I missed all of my bBoard meetings as I turned around and went home. When I called customer service to see if I could get a refund or credit I was put on hold for 2 hours and then was dropped. I will probably let Amex know not to pay them. Its a disgrace.

2 day return trip took 3 days

Amtrak - 2 day return trip took 3 days
The main engine broke down and was really late leaving Chicago and another car had to be replaced also.

User's recommendation: Pay attention to layovers and schedule not being in tine.

Just let peoples know ( not really pissed off)

Not passed off, just try to inform who plan to ride with Amtrak, Amtrak kind of like auto mechanic rip customer off, lots time when that happen they still in business, why? Cause they are plenty customers, you will be treat as sec class citizens when u ride Amtrak,if u complaints ,good chance you will get kick out of train, even your complaints is legit. Top down issue, they still have lots customers need ride with train, guess what , they will never treat peoples decent till they start have lots empty train, and unfortunately it very unlikely happen!

We were scheduled to leave Osceola iowa at 7:50 am on th 19 th of January. The train was 3 hours late and we had made a 4 hour drive to get there on time.

I booked three times online and the reservations didn’t go through, even though I got a notification saying that my trip was confirmed and that an e-ticket would be issued to my email address.

I booked online, paid for the reservation, got a notification on the website saying that my trip is confirmed and that an e-ticket would be issued shortly. I didnt receive anything and was subsequently informed by Customer Service (when I called them) that there was no reservation under my name for any trips. This happened two times.

User's recommendation: Don’t book online! Their website sucks.

Wrong card ? I'm not sure what that means but I sent PC ahead to LA and reported it.They've searched a week for it and as of now have not found it.

P please no more time on the phone they give you the wrong phone number then they tell you call this number and it's the wrong number I don't think a damn person knows what the hell's going on over there all of the actual services in as bad as the phone service believe me any competition coming and watch out....... My future recommendation to another customer be prepared to be aggravatedb bring pillows and aspirin

Not able to book Amtrak Tickets on their site

We are trying to book on the Amtrak Site 2 Amtrak tickets from Seattle, Washington to Vancouver British Columbia on the 11 September 2022. The site allows us to to choose train date and time and enter our personal details. Thereafter the site will not let us continue Please advise how we can proceed. Tracy Harper

Cancel tickets

Hello the customer service was excellent and the people was so helpful at Amtrak on staples mill road but the young lady did not know how to cancel my sons ticket my son s name is Christopher Ford he got in a head on collision on Christmas eve.
