Verified BuyerRight at the beginning of the trip the person at the door was so mean. My daughter called me in tears because he wouldn’t let her in the train saying she was late. Her ticket said an 8:50 am departure

I bought a round ticket across the United States. No real cooperation with the agent so I waited an hour or two and I decided that this trip was not for me.
I went back to the counter the woman there. Vicki was very nice and gave me a refund now it should have been deleted immediately its like it never happened anyway, my credit card was charged and now I am overdrawn on my bank account. I just spoke to a really nice gentleman and he said it would take 3 to 5 days. I cant imagine why since I changed it immediately.
This is very poor customer service. Thank you Deborah backus.

Conflict of Interest
June 8, 2023, in Phila Pa, a Amtrak work truck tried to force his way in front of me while I was getting into the left lane, damaging my front passenger side bumper on the side, my passenger side front wheel well. When I called 911, they stated that Amtrak Police has to come.
Amtrak Police shows up, say a few words to me, then go to to the Amtrak driver for a while, then comes back a talk to me. They also tell me that Pennsylvania State Police won't be coming because there weren't any fatalities. Weeks later when Amtrak Police finally released the accident report, the report stated that the Amtrak driver said that I tried to get in front of him and damaged the Amtrak truck that he was driving. There is no way that Amtrak Police were going to find the Amtrak truck driver liable.
An thorough investigation couldn't have been performed be if it were they were have seen from the video from the cameras on Interstate 676 at 30th st would have shown that my version is actually what happened.
Also a thorough investigation would have shown that the accident occurred in the far left lane and my damages to my vehicle were on the passenger and the minor scratches that were on the Amtrak truck were on the side. Amtrak is liable and needs to pay for the damage to my vehicle.
User's recommendation: If you're ever in a accident with a Amtrak vehicle , when you call 911 don't tell them that the accident was with a Amtrak vehicle,.because they will send Amtrak Police instead of State Police

I have written, texted and called him, anmtrak and have not ever heard back from them.
Additionally, we have been delayed over a half an hour because of two Metro-North trains, and the Wi-Fi does not work. I could cope with being delayed over 40 minutes because of the Metro-North trains, and I could be fine without saying Internet but we on this train or stifling Im feeling nauseous. Others from the car have gone through other cars and are sitting on the floor to stay cool.
It is a full train, and there are no additional seats. I respectfully ask for two, as I am traveling with my husband as well, refunded tickets for this portion of our trip.

The train stopped at Irvine and we got onto a bus until Oceanside and back on the train until I got off at old town. The conductor assisted me with my luggage and bags full of presents, but I dont know if the conductor told the new conductor that got on at union station that I needed assistance.
I did not ask for assistance when the train stopped, and we got onto the bus I thought all the luggage will go onto the bus automatically I have never taken the bus from the train before I dont know if the luggage was lost on the train or on the bus but when I go to old town, I have no luggage. Or a trash bag full of presents! I feel that Amtrack is responsible for the cost of the luggage labeled as belonging to Robyn Siers and 32 birthday presents from my birthday luncheon and the 12 presents I had purchased for my three grandsons at Disneyland and at Las Vegas. If my train ticket did not say with Assistance then I do not feel you are responsible for covering the expenses of all of the receipts I have for my underwear, my toiletries, my make up, and my clothes I have tried to buy some of the presents for my grandsons, but not all of them one of the presents for my birthday with $500 gift cards and another was a hand-painted wine glass for $65 which I will have the receipt for as long as as well as the receipt for shipping.
ONLY because my train ticket said with ASSISTANCE so I believe you need to take the responsibility of the cost of replacing all of my belongings and all of my gifts.

I use Amtrak all of the time when I had an ill friend d I went once a month for two or three years from the Van Nuys station to San Luis Obispo station and Ive also gotten numerous times in the van I station to the old town station what time doing at least three or four times for this vacation! The personnel at the van I station are fabulous, and we know each other by first names!! I have always been treated well and gotten any help.
Ive needed in the past, and Im sure I will continue to in the future! Ive always enjoyed, and Ralph to everyone about using Amtrak!

I inadvertently walked on a restricted area scheduled for construction that had not been started. As a result, an Amtrak employee was screaming unintelligible commands at me and I finally heard his obnoxious comments.
I told him Ive been seen by other Amtrak employees and nothing was said. He claims I stated I was given permission which was never said. As a result of this misunderstanding, I was asked not to return to the Buffalo/Depew Amtrak station. I do not know who ordered this but was told this by a fine Amtrak employee named Don.
The employee that lied, I do not know his name but he is the most overweight employee. Im told by other Amtrak employees that he is the laziest worker there. Ive observed his lack of work such as never using the wheelchair lift or positioning the yellow stool for the passengers. He allows the female workers to do the heavy lifting.
I want to have my permission to be re-enstated. Paul P.
