P please no more time on the phone they give you the wrong phone number then they tell you call this number and it's the wrong number I don't think a damn person knows what the hell's going on over there all of the actual services in as bad as the phone service believe me any competition coming and watch out....... My future recommendation to another customer be prepared to be aggravatedb bring pillows and aspirin

Not able to book Amtrak Tickets on their site

We are trying to book on the Amtrak Site 2 Amtrak tickets from Seattle, Washington to Vancouver British Columbia on the 11 September 2022. The site allows us to to choose train date and time and enter our personal details. Thereafter the site will not let us continue Please advise how we can proceed. Tracy Harper

Cancel tickets

Hello the customer service was excellent and the people was so helpful at Amtrak on staples mill road but the young lady did not know how to cancel my sons ticket my son s name is Christopher Ford he got in a head on collision on Christmas eve.

Amtrak - No service
I tried to figure out how to schedule a mildly complicated round trip ticket on their website Moorpark, CA to Oceanside, CA). The web site was of no use. I tried calling their phone number (from overseas) and waited an hour and a half on hold but no one answered my call.

Canceled trip without being able to reschedule with a human

Im pissed and frustrated that my trip was canceled, and the number that I was left with was a number that no one ever answers.

Too long waiting waiting for someone to respond um your phone ca And try to not to keep keep people on line learn that long Be online about 3 or 4 hours or more before someone answered answer one they're hanging up on youll

Disappointment in AMTRAK COVID-19 precautions and refund policy

I planned to use AMTRAK for travel between CVS and TRE and then TRE to ALX. I saw AMTRAK's pledge to refund travel through January 4, 2022: this turns out NOT TO BE AN ACCURATE PROMISE. I am 70-years old and was planning to visit households with unvaccinated children...

Website terrible

It used to be really easy to check dates and schedules and book a trip on the Amtrak website. Now that they have "upgraded" the site it is TERRIBLE! Web designers, and the companies that hire them, really should try their product out from the consumer end. Now I just cost them time and money by calling guest rewards instead of quickly booking my trips online. Very disappointing.

Very delayed train ride

My train was delayed 4 hours due to a tornado in Kentucky and bad weather around. then it was delayed a hour because the air flow system came off so the maintenance has to redo it. Then we waited another hour because someone hit the train track in tolono Illinois so they had to fix it before we could get past.

Impossible to get a refund

I purchased a ticket for my nephew online, I accidentally sent it to the wrong email, called to try and get it rectified, needless to say I was on the phone 2 separate times for a total of 90 minutes. The first time I bever got to speak to anyone. The second time I was told that my nephew was a no show, I explained what happened and was informed that it was doubtful I would get my money back and I would have to send an email. That was on Monday I am still waiting for a response. Nice to know that 151.00 is no big deal to them. I am beyond livid yes in part it was my fault, I feel they need a better system in place because their site is clear as mud!
